Can you trust Solacare?
Solacare is led by a team of registered social workers in Hong Kong and Canada, with myself leading the platform. I hold a bachelor’s degree in social work, a master’s degree in counselling and a master’s degree in computer science, and have close to ten years of counselling experience. I previously designed the volunteer counselling platform system for Open Up and have also coordinated website system implementation for Canada’s nationwide 9-8-8 crisis intervention service, which has served more than one million contacts. My team and I therefore bring years of experience in safely integrating mental health practice with technology, rather than approaching mental health as a conventional commercial organisation entering the field from the outside.
